Our objective
Our objective is to provide the best type of care for each person’s needs. We see caring, above all, as a holisticfunction. This is why we focus a lot on social activities & entertainment. Our ladies take part in exercise classes, arts, crafts, games, movie nights, bingo, concerts and many other activities. We also have Church Services on a Sunday, with Holy Communion twice weekly given by the Anglican and Methodist churches.
Our rooms are fairly large, and many boast beautiful views of Berea park. Our residents often enjoy a walk about in the park as well as in our well-tended gardens. We serve, tasty, wholesome meals in our many dining rooms, while the many lounges offer spaces to relax and socialise. Some ladies also like to enjoy a bit of a kip, the sunshine. Our pets add further character to our home. They bring a lot of cheer, comfort and laughter to the ladies.
We also have an in-house sickbay. This service offers short term / step down care for residents who have taken ill or who require post-operative care. The step down facility is also available to community members who require temporary care & assistance. It’s perfect for elderly ladies who need some extra care when recovering from illness or medical treatment & surgery.
